I just wanted to put a quick word here about the price of the paperback version of The Determined Widow. It is admittedly high at nearly £10.00 before postage is added. I would just like to explain that as it is a print on demand book of some 400 pages the costs from Amazon are understandly high. I guess it is just the economincs of print on demand of 90,000 word plus novels. As the author I recieve less than a pound of the current price.
To be clear that is not in any way a moan, I just did not want my relationship with any new readers to start off with them thinking I was being greedy or deluded! :) As I say, it is simply the economics of the Amazon print on demand service.
To be honest, the decision to put a paperback version out there was that friends and family had asked for the option to buy something they could hold in their hands; though I am of course delighted if others prefer it to a tablet, computer or phone for the ebook. Either way, thank you.
