Well I am surprised to say that in the initial lanch period, for a brief while, The Determined Widow became a best seller! Not for long, but it made it to number 55! You can see the picture on my instagram and facebook pages.
The harsh reality is of course that competition is fierce in the book world these days and it was not long before we were no longer on the best seller's list.... but time will tell.... sales are growing organically and exponentially which I am told is what a successful author needs, although the actual numbers are modest. As I say... time will tell.
I was told that if I wanted to be a full-time author, I would need organic, exponential growth. It would seem to be that we might be experiencing that at the moment. The numbers are still modest, but the growth rate is healthy. Exciting and yet very nervous times!
